Introduction...

The website evaluation and reporting service is aimed at helping businesses improve their use of e–business techniques and become more competitive online.   It offers an independent and professional review of the business's current online practices, and identifies opportunities to improve performance.

Who is it for?

The website evaluation and reporting service is based around consulting techniques and review software developed by white noise consulting, and many businesses have benefited from it already.  We have refined the service to a point whereby we don't think anyone else comes close in terms of detailed analysis, quality and value for money.

The website evaluation and reporting service is suitable for almost any size company.   It is for anyone who is looking to increase their brand or organization awareness through new media.   Most clients have websites that aren’t performing how the client feels that they should be and wants to know the reasons why.   This is where we come in.

How does it Work?

The evaluation is carried out by a completely remote diagnostic of the client's website.  A report which contains full technical, as well as detailed personal explanations is compiled and sent to you.  It now also checks for the main points of the e–commerce directive which came into force on the 28th August 2002.

The review covers the most recent of government directives, including the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 - this directive applies to nearly all businesses advertising their products or services online and is intended to create consumer confidence by clarifying the rights and obligations of businesses and consumers.  The implications of the directive are that everyone operating online must now check their website against a tight set of criteria or potentially face legal action and a fine of up to £10,000!

The evaluation is designed to improve your use of e–business techniques and become more competitive online, be that learning more about your competitors, clarifying your understanding of the internet or revising your business strategy.

The information below is an overview of what is included within the website evaluation and reporting service:

To complete an evaluation takes around five days and includes:

  1. client completes an initial questionnaire
  2. website review
    a. first impression; examining how the website affects perception of the company
    b. formal analysis; an in depth technical, usability and marketing review of the website compared to its competitors, featuring search engine ranking reports, quality testing, download time analysis and much more
